At the end of the application period applicants will receive an email advising them whether they have been accepted into the program or not. The email will come from SMART Technologies.
Notifications should be issued within 4 weeks of the closing of the application period.
No reasons are provided to unsuccessful applicants.
Successful applicants will receive their choice of SMART software and a SEE laptop bag from SMART. An order form will be emailed to you to complete.
Once you have been accepted into the program, your name will be recorded in our database.
Once a SEE is accepted into the program, they remain a part of the program until they retire from teaching.
SEEs who move out of the K-12 education space (for example, to become a paid consultant), move to Alumni status, and are no longer actively engaged by the program manager nor do they receive offers and opportunities.
An annual survey is conducted at the end of each calendar year to gather information about their SMART activities and to better understand how to best serve the community.
SEEs that do not complete the annual survey are moved to an “in-active” list and no longer actively receive offers or opportunities related to the program.
